Aligned with VAR Studios’ strategic objectives, we are thrilled to announce the inauguration of our new Aerial Operations Studio. This significant development, formally established in the summer of 2023, is the culmination of a year’s worth of meticulous planning and dedication. 

Comprising an interdisciplinary team of students and faculty members, the Aerial Operations Studio will immensely expand VAR Studios’ capabilities by venturing into aerial capturing. 

Based in Knowledge Park within Penn State Behrend, the Aerial Operations Studio will add a fresh dimension to VAR Studios’ research, learning, and creative output, enabling us to push the boundaries even further in our pursuit of excellence. 

This studio was made possible through a robust partnership with the Drone Operations Unit at University Park, ensuring our full compliance with all FAA and University policies, thereby upholding the high safety and quality standards associated with our operations.
