Project Description
The VAR Lab recently captured a series of landmarks using the FARO s70 LiDAR scanner that it has in its inventory.
The team that included Dr. Chris Shelton, Jasper Sachsenmeier, Hudson Tran, and Erica Juriasingani.
On the Behrend campus, the team captured a point cloud of the famous Nittany Lion Shrine and the soon to be remodeled historic Federal House. In the Erie region, the team traveled to Presque Isle State Park to capture a point cloud of the Presque Isle Lighthouse.

The post processing on this model was simpler so the finished model is viewable here. It is possible to download and 3D print the model by viewing the model on Sketchfab.
