On March 1, 2023, Dr. Ralph Ford, the Chancellor of Penn State Behrend, delivered his annual State of the College address, during which he discussed Behrend’s Open Lab environment. The VAR Lab was showcased as one of the Open Lab initiatives that provide Behrend students with a diverse set of experiences.
