Project Description
We are excited to announce a new collaboration of VAR Lab with the Educational Equity and Diversity Programs of Penn State Behrend. As a first step, we are working to assist with the facilitation of diversity and equity awareness of the students by offering virtual and augmented reality resources. Later on, it is our hope that we will be able to provide the students with truly immersive experiences using gradually even more cutting-edge technologies. Students will be able to virtually visit museums and historical monuments from around the world, take a walk at local markets of other countries, visit each other’s towns and neighborhoods, or even experience how a person with motor/learning/intellectual disabilities lives.
